Youseff and The 8 Class Schools
Grades 1 thru 6

Both schools need everything:

• They have no walls, the classrooms are outside
• The Playground is dirt and dust
• They have well water that is not clean
• There are no bathrooms
• They need books and school supplies
• They need 50 classrooms to accomodate all of the students
• There are only 40 teachers.
• Teachers are paid $50 a month salary
• Because there are only 15 classrooms, there are 2 sessions (morning and afternoon)
• There are 295 boys and 260 girls in the schools. With 250 more coming in 2008
• More boys than girls because there are no walls or security on the grounds.
